Separate origin, health and performance

  • Battery origin describes whether the battery is presented as original or replacement.
  • Battery health is a reported percentage or test result at a point in time.
  • Performance includes charging, discharge, temperature, unexpected shutdown and swelling checks.

Questions for an original-battery device

Ask where the health reading came from, when it was recorded and whether the device shows a parts or service message. A high displayed percentage does not replace a functional charging and discharge check.

Questions for a replacement-battery device

Ask who performed the replacement, whether the battery is identified by the operating system, whether the health value displays normally and whether sealing or other parts were affected. Request the accepted battery status in the quotation.

Do not describe the whole phone as “all original” without a separate replacement-battery disclosure. RELOOP product pages now keep appearance and battery type in separate fields for this reason.

Use a repeatable battery acceptance rule

  • Define the minimum accepted health or test result.
  • Specify how unavailable battery data will be handled.
  • Confirm charging and abnormal-shutdown checks.
  • Agree the remedy for a device outside the accepted battery rule.

Frequently asked questions

Does 100% battery health prove the battery is original?

No. Battery health and battery origin are separate facts. Ask for both and request device-level evidence.

Is a replacement battery automatically unacceptable?

That depends on the buyer’s specification. The important step is clear disclosure, testing and an agreed acceptance rule.

What if battery health is not supplied?

Treat it as pending. Request the current reading or test result before approving the quotation.
